Anne-Marie Brook has joined AMP Asset Management's investment strategy unit.
She will be responsible for analysis of the New Zealand economy and the resulting investment strategies applied to clients' portfolios. Brook holds a Master in Public Affairs from Princeton University, a BA in Economics with 1st Class Honours and a BSc in Psychology from Otago University. Prior to this appointment she has varied work and study experience in both New Zealand and the United States. She joined the Reserve Bank in 1992 and was involved in a range of analytical roles involving forecasting and analysing the New Zealand economy.
In 1996 she took up a Fullbright Schlorship at Princeton University. While in the US she worked with JP Morgan and the World Bank.
Since returning to New Zealand in 1997 she has held a range of responsibilities involving analysis of monetary policy at the Reserve Ban
