Following the acquisition of Norwich Union's life and investment business in New Zealand by Royal & SunAlliance, investment marketing managers Martin Allison and Mary Potter have been appointed to service separate
regions within New Zealand.
Martin Allison will service the South Island and Wellington, while Mary Potter oversees the remainder of the North Island. They have joint responsibility for Auckland.
The appointments, Allison says, reflect the increasing importance Royal & SunAlliance has in developing and growing the fund management side of its business.
" The industry is going through quite massive changes at present. We want to be certain that we are well placed to take advantage of the opportunities as they arise, and to maximise the benefits that the acquisition has given us," he says.
