AMP Capital's new head of strategy announced
Leo Krippner has been appointed as the new head of investment strategy at AMP Capital.
It is a newly established role, responsible for managing the asset allocation of the New Zealand diversified and global multi-manager funds.
"Krippner is welcomed onto the AMP Capital Investors New Zealand management team and also becomes part of a wider global team of Investment Strategists headed by Dr Shane Oliver in Australia," AMP Capital managing director Catherine Savage says.
Krippner has worked in macroeconomic forecasting at Treasury and in financial market analyst and portfolio manager roles in the private sector. He was also a portfolio manager in the Foreign Reserves section of the Reserve Bank. He was appointed to the position of fixed interest strategist for AMP Capital in 2004 – the position he has held until this new appointment to head of investment strategy.
