ASB appoints new executive GM
Nick Stanhope is the new executive general manager, wealth and insurance and will join the bank’s executive leadership team.
Stanhope has been with ASB since 1995. He has held a variety of leadership roles including general manager, corporate banking and working capital services; general manager, business banking and his most recent position as general manager of business banking and retail specialist services.
In his new role Stanhope will assume leadership of ASB’s wealth and insurance division, comprising of around 300 people nationwide. The division is responsible for the development and distribution of ASB’s investment and insurance products and includes ASB Securities, the bank’s share trading service and Aegis.
Ian Boyce has taken over his old role which includes looking after third party distribution of home loans through mortgage brokers.
