Builders forgo contracts for lack of staff

Mainzeal and Australian-owned Multiplex, two of New Zealand's biggest construction firms, said yesterday they had decided not to bid for as much as $500 million of work.
Fletcher Building also said it had little capacity to take on new contracts, but declined to say how much it had given up
