Court Could Take Action Against BIA

The 85-owners of the Auckland residential complex in Grafton between Spaghetti Junction and Symonds St are suing the BIA and six other organisations for $9 million after the leaky building debacle.
As well as the BIA, the developers are being sued for negligence.
Greenwich Park victims are also suing Approval Building Certifiers, alleging it failed to ensure that the units' plans and specifications were drawn to a workmanlike standard and met the Building Code's requirements.
They are taking action against the builders, claiming negligence and failing to exercise a duty of care to construct the units to a workmanlike standard.
