For financial advisers who want a more formal sales and client interaction approach, and who need to establish basic consultative selling skills to form effective long term client relationships. The six-step advice process includes:
  • Role of the financial adviser
  • Psychology of the buyer (client needs and wants)
  • People interaction skills
  • Questioning and listening
  • Planning & preparation
  • Sales process

A compulsory element of the Certificate in Financial Services (Mortgage Broking) or can be an elective for non mortgage brokers. Also compulsory for NZMBA membership.
