Generator Bonds presentation

Macquarie will be staging a roadshow in the main centres for brokers and financial intermediaries to present the Generator Bond issue.
It is intended that Generator will offer investors a fixed coupon of either 7.75%, 8.00% or 8.25% pa, payable quarterly (the final interest rate will be set on the issue date). The bonds will have a credit rating from Standard and Poors. It is expected to be A- but this will be confirmed on the issue date.
Returns will be linked to the credit risk of a portfolio of debt issued by 100 international investment grade companies. The bonds have a 5-year term and the minimum investment is $5,000.
Generator Bonds will be denominated in NZ$ and an application has been made to list them on the NZX.
The presentation will cover: Background and reasons for the issue, the Terms of the offer, explanation of the underlying structure and a Q & A session.
The presentation will last approximately on hour and light refreshments will be served afterwards.
The Christchurch presentation will be on Wednesday July 9 from 7.30am - 8.30am at the Heritage Hotel, Cathedral Square.
