Funds dazzle with returns over 20pc

Numbers released today by research company FundSource show positive returns for every type of managed fund.
Leading the way was the continued winning performance of New Zealand shares.
The average passive share fund made a 28.10 per cent return for investors during the 12 months to the end of March, with active share funds returning 22.33 per cent.
Those are huge improvements on the previous 12 month returns of -5.37 per cent for passive and -4.05 per cent for active share funds.
"Things are definitely turning around," said FundSource's Tim Anderson.
