Gov't Protects Deadbeats' Privacy

To date, government departments have refused to give creditors the addresses of debtors on privacy grounds.

Now, the Department for Courts is considering a process through which a creditor with a judgment against a debtor might access the debtor's address.

Under the proposed data-matching scheme the creditor can put his case, on specific grounds, to a court registrar.
