Kiwis like to pay off debts

New Zealand is ranked in the top five countries where people are most likely to spend their spare cash on debt repayment.
The other countries are Malaysia, Philippines, Australia and the United Kingdom.
That is among the findings of the latest Global research by AC Nielsen, which asked 14 thousand consumers in 28 countries how they would spend their spare cash once all essential living expenses are paid.
The study also asked for people's thoughts on their country's economic performance and to indicate their greatest concerns over the next six months.
Out of home entertainment is the second most likely way New Zealanders would spend their spare cash.
