Mortgage Link appoints replacement for Butler

Richard Austin has been selected to fill the vacancy after Butler resigned.

Austin has significant experience as a senior executive in the financial services industry, as well as a company director. He is currently a co-owner of Strategic Wealth Management Group, a wealth management and financial consultancy company.

He is a Director of Business Mentors New Zealand, and a counsellor representing Canterbury/Westland on the New Zealand Institute of Chartered Accountants. He is a Trustee and Finance Committee member of the STOP Trust and a past Chairman of the Canterbury/Westland Branch of the New Zealand Institute of Chartered Accountants. Previously Austin was the chief investment officer of Gould Holdings and was also a general manager at Perpetual Trust.
