Brokers' volume drops, but recovering

KPMG’s annual survey of financial institutions shows the amount lent by mortgage brokers during 2005 took a dip from $13.5 billion in 2004 to $11 billion.Mortgage Brokers Association chief executive Megan Salt says she does not understand why the KPMG figure shows a drop in mortgage broker lending for 2005 but says that figure is “somewhat historical”.
