NZ Finance to list?

Thursday 15th of July 2004
New Zealand Finance is reported to be looking at a sharemarket listing, according to a report in the Herald.

If the IPO, said to be around $10 million, goes ahead it would be the third financial services company to hit the market this year after Mike Pero Mortgages and Dominion Finance.

NZ Finance, which was established in 1997, has a loan book of about $40 million, assets of around $5 million and it made a net profit of $3.5 million in the year to March 31.

It also runs a mortgage broking company, NZ Mortgage Finance.

The company is owned by John Callaghan, Mark Thornton and Pat O’Connor.
