ASB narrows gap between carded and Special rates

In an interesting move today ASB and Sovereign have lowered fixed rates across the board. However, so-called Specials have generally only gone down 10 basis points, while carded rates are down 20 points in some cases.

Also Westpac has slightly reduced its two-year Special.

Here is how everything stacks up on the two-year term from lowest to highest.
