New appointment to lead Pinnacle
Pinnacle Life has appointed Gillian Vaughan as its new chief executive.
“We are delighted that Gillian Vaughan has accepted the position as Pinnacle Life’s new chief executive. Gillian has a wealth of life insurance experience, particularly in the areas of finance, risk, compliance, and product development,” said chairman Jack Porus.
“Gillian’s background and commitment to helping New Zealand families protect their futures means she’s perfectly positioned to lead our business. Gillian will be instrumental in our goal of providing innovative solutions that have Kiwis in mind.”
Vaughan has been with Pinnacle Life close to 20 years, having worked across a variety of positions – including the roles of company secretary and general manager of operations. She takes the chief executive role from Michelle van Gaalen, who is leaving to become managing director of Smith&Smith®/Laser Plumbing and Electrical.
