FSCL COnf promo

Thursday 13th of April 2017

Following on from the success of their inaugural conference in 2015, FSCL is delighted to announce this year’s one day conference and professional development day on Thursday 18 May from 9.30 am to 5pm, at the Novotel Auckland Airport hotel. The conference theme is “Seeing the wood for the trees”, with an emphasis on clear communication with clients and avoidance of complaints. The conference is followed by a cocktail function to give you the opportunity to network with other advisers and FSCL staff.
Speakers include:
• Liam Mason from the FMA giving an update on the financial adviser regime post the FAA review
• Hamish Kerr from Scope Investigations on “Justifying fraud”
• Christine Smith from Clearspace on how to communicate clearly and effectively with your clients
• A consumer panel telling you what consumers really want from their financial adviser.
In addition, the FSCL team will be running several concurrent workshops on topical and practical issues to assist you in better understanding and avoiding complaints. One workshop will examine FSCL’s approach to dealing with complaints arising from the sale of replacement insurance, including looking at real case studies, and best practice guidelines. Another workshop asks you to help us investigate a complaint, also including real case studies.
Come and join us for a stimulating and thought-provoking day and earn 4 CPD points for your attendance!
Places are filling fast, so don’t miss out – registration only $299, plus GST, for FSCL scheme participants, or $349, plus GST, for non-FSCL scheme participants.
