McEwan set to exit AXA

Ross McEwan has announced he is quitting as head of AXA to take the helm at First NZ Securities, the new company created after a management buyout from Credit Suisse First Boston.

McEwan who is 44, will start with First NZ Securities on May 6 and will be a shareholder in the new company.

He has been with AXA for 16 years and during the last 18 months has overseen the integration...
