Chen joins AMP
Thursday 15th of November 2001
Lawyer Mai Chen has been appointed to AMP’s Advisory Board.
Chen is a founding partner of Chen Palmer & Partners, barristers and bolicitors, Australasia’s first public law specialist firm, which she founded with the Rt Hon Sir Geoffrey Palmer in 1994.
Formerly she was a senior lecturer at Victoria University's law school in Wellington.
"The AMP Advisory Board invited Mai Chen to join our team because we consider that her diverse business and social experience and her considerable professional expertise will augment the range of skills that already exists amongst our membership," chairman Rosanne Meo says.
Current AMP Advisory Board member and AMP Henderson Global Investors chairman Doug Ritchie, will retire at the end of this year, after more than 17 years’ service.
