ING loses top executive

Friday 25th of January 2008
Andy Evans, the managing director of ING's property business, has left the firm after giving 9 years service.

ING chief executive Marc Lieberman is confident Evans' departure will be managed with little disruption. "We respect Andy's decision to leave and are disappointed to lose someone of his calibre. Andy stepped back from the day to day running of our property businesses earlier last year and has been focusing on longer term opportunities."

ING manages more than $1.4 billion in direct or listed property assets.

Evans will remain on the board of ING Property Trust Management and ING Medical Properties Trust Management.
