Investment manager retires
Tuesday 28th of November 2000
Public Trust’s investment manager for the past 10 years, Ross Steele, is to retire for family and lifestyle reasons.
He will step down in mid-February. Recruitment of a successor will begin shortly.
“During Ross’s tenure, both our group investment funds and Public Trust investment funds were set up. Their performance over the years is clear evidence of Ross’s expertise – and our customers have reaped the benefit,” Public Trustee David Hutton says.
Hutton says Steele will leave behind a very clear investment policy, a clear strategy and a strong investment team. He expects Public Trust’s sound investment returns to customers to be maintained.
