Macquarie slips in new BDM

Andrew Sliper has joined Macquarie New Zealand as business development manager in the Financial Services Group. His experience includes working in Institutional Banking for the Commonwealth Bank of Australia and the Royal Bank of Scotland.

He also worked in London for Cheyne Capital, a boutique Fund Manager specialising in credit derivatives.

Most recently, Sliper started and grew a banking presence in Auckland for Momentum Consulting Group.

He will be based in Auckland, reporting to Tina Sidnell, but will have a national role - initally focusing on Macquarie Cash Solutions and the Macquarie Diversified Fixed Interest Trust.
