McMillan leads PAA for another year
Wednesday 11th of April 2007
Dave McMillan has been confirmed as general manager of the Professional Advisors’ Association for at least one more year.
McMillan, who became the PAA’s first paid manager in April last year, will continue in the position until the end of March 2008, delegates at the group’s conference were told last month.
Following his appointment in 2006, McMillan said the job was intended to be a short-term role as the PAA moved from an association run by a committee of advisers to a more professional management structure.
The PAA is currently in merger talks with the Life Brokers Association and is also working with other industry groups to develop a ‘pan-industry’ Approved Professional Body (APB) when new adviser regulations come into force.
