Owen signs on again

AXA group chief executive Les Owen has extended his contract with the company for another two years until
December 31, 2004.
"We are pleased with the progress that has been made over the last three years in repositioning and improving the performance of the company," AXA chairman Rick Allert says. "The board has offered Les an extension to his contract and we are delighted that he has accepted this."
"I have enjoyed three challenging years with AXA APH," Owen says. "During this time we have made very good progress towards our...goals. We still have many challenges ahead, but I am very excited about our future."
