Sinclair joins Baker on Dorchester board

Tuesday 6th of October 2009

The Business Bakery bought a 19.47% stake in Dorchester from Auguste Holdings, which is related to St Laurence, last month for $400,000, and Baker joined the board two weeks later. Another three weeks later, and two of the Bakery's founders have governing roles on the finance company and insurer.

In August, Dorchester's executive director Paul Byrne told shareholders the company needs a combination of settling with debenture holders, improving its operating performance, selling assets and raising new capital to ensure its ongoing success.
