Three stars for Southern Cross

The Southern Cross Medical Care Society has signed up Anthony McPhail to its senior management team, in the role of chief operating officer, members' services. Victor Klap (left) fills the new role of group manager, public-private and primary care partnership. The strategic role will explore initiatives for Southern Cross to work collaboratively with primary health providers and with the public health system.
Klap’s former roles include chief executive of the Independent Practitioners’ Association of New Zealand, chief executive of the Southern Regional Health Authority and manager funding, health reform directorate in the Department of the Prime Minister and Cabinet.
