Top ANZ executive to leave in June
Craig Mulholland has been at ANZ NZ since 2011 and his roles have included general counsel and company secretary.
ANZ NZ chief executive Antonia Watson says Mulholland has overseen business improvements and significant sustainable growth in the company’s wealth and private bank business units in recent years and with much of it completed has decided to seek new career challenges.
“Craig has helped continue to grow New Zealand’s biggest privately run funds management business, which includes KiwiSaver, and private bank,” Watson says.
“The wealth unit now has $33 billion of funds under management and has seen its KiwiSaver funds under management more than double in Craig’s four years as managing director - to $18 billion.
"Wealth and private bank have also won numerous awards for performance and service in that time.”
Under a new structure, that Mulholland helped create, private bank will in future report to ANZ personal banking and the wealth business is to be renamed Funds Management.
