Scam warning over rent-to-own homes

Police say at least three people have already fallen victim to the scam.
Detective Senior Sergeant Greg Turner says the suspect is a 39-year-old man who goes by the name of Thomas Blackmore, or Kerrin Henderson.
He says the man has a solid to fat build, wears glasses, and has short brown mousey hair, and a beard.
He is offering rent-to-buy deals to members of the public, and then takes cash deposits and/or motor vehicles from his victim, promising they wil. be given a house.
