Signs Housing Market Is Easing

Barfoot and Thompson director Peter Thompson says in March 2003 home buyers were forking out around $352,000 for an average home. A year later, the figure is $411,000.
But he says that with more properties coming onto the market providing more competition, some sellers are having to reduce their price to meet the market.
