FundSource Research was established in 1987 to be the researcher of choice for investors and advisers in New Zealand. FundSource conducts in-depth research into financial products, fund managers, the economy and other technical matters pertinent to investment. This research is then supplied to fund managers, industry publications, investment advisers and investors.

During the past year FundSource has experienced significant development in its core research business and overall market presence. As a result FundSource is seeking to appoint a suitably qualified person to join the Research Team as a Senior Fund Analyst. The successful applicant will:

• Display outstanding levels of self-motivation and innovation.
• Demonstrate exceptional written and oral presentation skills.
• Exhibit superior interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively communicate with external organisations at a senior level.
• Have a tertiary qualification in Economics and/or Finance. Plus preferably a post graduate degree.
• Minimum 8-10 years financial markets analysis experience required.

Specific areas of responsibility include:

• Communication of investment opinions, written and verbal, both internally and to the organisation’s client base.
• Participation in FundSource’s fund and fund manager research.
• Research and information collation for funds management industry and consulting projects.
