Funds Administration New Zealand Ltd (FANZ) is a subsidiary of the Southland Building Society. FANZ has over $140m of funds under management and advice in a variety of propositions. To assist FANZ with continuing to develop its infrastructure we are seeking the services of a funds management accounting and unit pricing specialist for a six month contract.

The contract’s focus is to assist FANZ in developing its functions and controls with respect with this area and work with the wider FANZ team. Although the initial role is for a six month contract it is envisaged that a more permanent role will be looked at for the right person at the completion of the contractual term.

Remuneration is competitive with the role being based in Wellington starting in early March 2004. Candidates must have a strong back ground in the funds management industry and have accounting and unit pricing experience. Some knowledge of Managed Funds tax would also be an advantage.
