CI Munro is New Zealand’s leading manufacturer of motorhomes, campervans, and caravans. The company is applying a fresh focus to the business to maximise its market dominance into the future.

CI Munro is a significant Otorohanga employer with around 80 staff. It is a member of Tourism Holdings Limited (THL), the dominant player in New Zealand’s tourism industry and CI Munro’s major customer.

The Commercial Manager will play a significant role in securing a positive future for the company by leading the manufacturing planning and finance systems implementation and ongoing management.

The position reports directly to the General Manager and is a member of the senior management team.

Specific responsibilities include:

  • Balance sheet, P&L and business performance reporting
  • Cost accounting
  • Staff leadership of an existing finance and administration team
  • Systems implementation
  • Capacity planning, production scheduling, bills of materials, and job costing

Those attracted to this role will have successful business experience in both finance and manufacturing planning, business process management and staff leadership through times of change. MRP experience is highly desirable, while strong interpersonal and communication skills are essential.

This role will have a major influence on the leadership of CI Munro and a high profile within the THL Group. An attractive remuneration package will be offered to the successful applicant.
