ASB Group Investments was established in 2003 to manage the investment businesses of the ASB Bank and Sovereign. It’s vision is to be New Zealand’s best investment solutions provider, excelling in customer service.

Reporting to the Investment Services Manager, Wholesale Distribution, key aspects of this role will be the interpretation, preparation and delivery of investment communications for three key distribution channels. This will require tailoring the output for both the retail and wholesale markets and include the production of investment and performance commentaries and articles of interest.

Writing commentary for special projects and product initiatives will also be required. In addition, this role plays an integral part in servicing New Zealand's largest employer scheme - The State Sector Retirement Savings Scheme.

To take on this high profile opportunity, the successful candidate will need to demonstrate a sound understanding of investment markets and managed funds. Effectiveness in operating within a team and advanced skills in Word, HTML, PDF, Excel and PowerPoint are also required. The ideal person would have both investment knowledge and a communications background. However, applicants with an investment background and outstanding communication skills will be considered.
