Due to demand, our client, a high profile trading bank is seeking a qualified and experienced financial adviser based in Wellington.

This exciting role allows the successful application to take over an existing portfolio and capiltalise on extensive internal referrals from various areas of the bank. As a result you will need to develop strong networks with branches, Relationship Managers and Managers Investment/Lending as well as prospecting for new business in the local community.

To be successful in this role you will be a motivated self-starter who possesses:

• Proven ability in retail investment, retirement, savings and risk management advice.
• A current or almost complete financial planning diploma.
• A sound knowledge of shareholder and business continuity agreements.
• Familiarity with the principles of business succession planning.
• A thorough grounding in the deployment of investment and insurance products.

Membership of the FPIA or similar body would be an advantage as would CFP or similar status.
