The Institute of Financial Advisers is the professional body for nearly 1,500 needs-based advisers in New Zealand. It represents insurance advisers, investment advisers, and financial planners.

This industry leadership role reports to the Institute Board - you will manage a small, Wellington based office which is responsible for supporting the Board, a representative Council, technical Colleges, and strong Branch structures.

This is a role for a highly motivated person who is ready to develop and establish their reputation as a professional leader. You will have excellent communication skills, enabling you to be an effective industry spokesperson, industry networker with other national and international professional associations, and Institute advocate to government and its agencies.

The Institute is developing an industry leading Code of Ethics and Practise Standards, and has clear principles and values. The way you conduct yourself and promote the Institute will reinforce the messages of these key documents.
