This is a critical role for a company heavily involved in funds and asset management (over $1 billion under management), finance, structured property products and other property-based investment opportunities.

Working closely with the CFO, Directors and Board, you will manage major company transactions and ensure statutory compliance and stock exchange requirements are adhered to. As the business continues to grow you will create and manage innovative investment products to keep ahead of the market.

Risk and compliance mechanisms are in place and have the buy-in of the business, so your challenge is to take these to the next stage and ensure risks are mitigated and future revenue growth is facilitated.

This sole charge role also oversees the company secretarial and legal requirements, providing guidance on legal matters to staff.

Who will you be? A hands-on, team player, legally qualified with a sound working knowledge of securities law and company law, commercially savvy with an understanding of accounting principles.

The role is full time and Wellington based.
