Our client is a recognised leader in the field of retirement savings and investments. They have significant experience in managing investment funds for a variety of clients and currently manage over $5bil in total.

Reporting to the head of investment management, this is an exciting and challenging role where you will collaborate with the incumbent investment professionals across different asset classes. There will be a strong focus on both long and short-term risk-adjusted and peer-relative investment performance.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • "Thought leadership" on asset allocation and investment strategy, including alternative assets
  • Research and analysis on best practice investment management amongst industry peers
  • Monitoring and review of multi-sector funds

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Strong degree in Economics, Finance, Maths or Statistics
  • CFA or similar professional qualification
  • Several years funds management experience as a Portfolio Analyst / Portfolio Manager
  • Knowledge of portfolio theory, optimisation and risk analysis
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to describe complex concepts in simple terms
