The Professional Advisers Association has a long and proud history of delivering quality services and benefits to its members. The Association is now seeking a skilled and experienced person to become its next Chief Executive. You will be responsible for ensuring that the Association's strategic plan is delivered and that the services provided to members continue to be held in high regard by them. New services and benefits will also need to be identified. You will also be responsible for representing the Association with appropriate stakeholders including commercial entities and government.

You will be supported by a very proactive Board and Chair and will be given the appropriate mandates that successful Chief Executives need. The Association's infrastructure is appropriate for its size and therefore requires an individual who is self motivated and directed. You will from time to time need to roll up your sleeves and get down into the detail.

To be successful in the role you will need to be able to demonstrate the following qualities and competencies:

• Proven financial, people and resource management capability.
• A track record in contributing to and executing organisational strategy.
• Experience in service delivery.
• Outstanding relationship and stakeholder management skills.
• Commercial acumen.
• Quality communication and presentation skills both written and oral.
