With a growing market share, we are offering a fantastic career opportunity for an experienced Business Development Manager to join TOWER Health & Life.

In this role, you will assist us with even more growth, identify and then securing new business opportunities with intermediaries, Independent Advisers, adviser groups, and other distribution channels. Alongside new business sales targets you will also work to grow the business written by your portfolio of clients. Additionally you will be charged with Advisor training and accreditation responsibilities. Based in our Wellington office and targeting clients throughout the lower North Island and Upper South Island, yours will be a highly mobile role.

To be successful in this role you must have a proven record of managing successful sales relationships direct with customers and via channel partners within the insurance industry with a Health or Life provider. We anticipate our preferred candidate will have at least five years experience in a comparable role and accordingly have a mature and extensive industry network. You’ll know what it takes to drive growth through new opportunities and you can demonstrate your considerable business development achievements.

Motivated by targets, you will have the inclination and the capacity to consistently deliver beyond expectation. You will have a confident and effective communication style.
