We are a leading provider of open space maintenance services, looking after Auckland's parks, sports fields, streets and the airport as well as offering expert horticultural, landscaping and plant supply services to local government and private enterprise. This is your chance to be involved with helping us to ensure that we grow and maintain our market lead.

The ideal person for this role will thrive on building relationships, exploring business opportunities, analysing markets for growth opportunities and identifying the right opportunities to ensure sustainable growth for the business. They will also enjoy working with the management team and key stakeholders to grow the existing businesses.

Managing the tendering process for new business opportunities will be an important part of this role, so hands-on, local experience in creating professional tenders is vital, along with the ability to represent City Parks and 'be the face' of the business during tender negotiations.

This role will suit an experienced, hands-on, practical, self-driven professional, with extensive experience in managing tenders, preferably in a landscape or horticulture environment. You will have excellent written and verbal communication skills, the ability to meet tight deadliness and enjoy working as part of team during a time of significant change and growth.

We need a business development expert who is passionate about driving our business forward.
