Onion is a unique concept, we are the only Mortgage Advisery service aligned to a specific construction company – GJ Gardner Homes.  Building a home is exciting and involves a number of choices, one of these is finance.  We need Advisers in key areas to work tirelessly with the team at GJ Gardner Homes sourcing the best financial solutions, creating strong and ongoing customer relationships and being their finance extraordinaire!

So if this sounds like the opportunity for you, these will be your key responsibilities:

• Establishing long term relationships with the GJ Gardner team and their clients
• Representing the Onion and GJ Gardner brand
• Conduct robust financial analysis on clients lending needs and recommend sound credit strategies that will deliver the best option for their future
• Work alongside the client as their financial adviser throughout the build and beyond

What you will need to bring to the role:

• Lending experience in home loans / mortgages with the ability to confidently assess a clients’ financial needs
• Ideally knowledge of the construction process although not a “must have”
• Proactive, able to self-motivate and work autonomously as well as part of a team
• A great networker with the ability to build strong professional relationships
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
• A good knowledge of MS Word and Excel
• Your own tidy vehicle with clean drivers licence
