Job Title: Financial Planner Associate

Provide support for existing clients.

This is an exciting opportunity to work for a small, yet fast growing financial planning practice based on the Kapiti Coast.

Having been in existence for circa 20 years, the company has built up a loyal client base across a broad demographic including wealth accumulators and retirees.

As the Financial Planner Associate you will report directly through to the Managing Director. You will assist in preparing and implementing financial plans, reviewing client portfolios and manage external communications.

Additionally, you will attend client meetings, oversee all administrative and compliance requirements and deliver financial literacy presentations to corporates and other groups as required. Initially a support position there will be the opportunity to take on your own clients over time. To be successful you will have a passion for the sector, an existing knowledge of investment strategies, markets and asset allocation models, and strong numerical skills.

You will have advanced communication skills and the ability to network and prospect. You will have a relevant tertiary qualification, previous sector experience, and will likely be an Authorised Financial Adviser or Certified Financial Planner or willing to study towards these certifications.

Some travel throughout the greater Wellington region may be required.
