Our Chief Financial Officer will do a lot more than just crunch the numbers! In this position you will have a deep, holistic understanding of the financial workings of Unitec, and the entire industry.

You will form a pivotal part of our Executive Leadership Team and help make crucial financial decisions to support Unitec in meeting our objectives.

You will work closely with our Chief Executive Officer, our Executive Leadership Team (ELT) and the Unitec Council to keep Unitec sustainable and ensure our financial strategy future proofs our position within the industry. You are forward thinking and will handle our finances with long term strategies in mind.

Your key focus in the next 18 months is to; develop and implement financial systems for front line leadership, manage our day-to-day cash flow, and work collaboratively with the ELT to take cost out and drive revenue and growth opportunities.

In this position you will significantly influence not only an institution of huge promise, but your work will impact the lives of tomorrow’s generations. Your experience, insight, passion for quality and adherence to excellence will make a positive difference to the industry.

To be successful in this position you need to hold a CA/CPA or equivalent qualification and hold extensive experience obtained within a similar role. Please see the position description for further information.
