Our client, a leading funds management company, is a leader in retail unit trust management. The company continues to be a pioneer in the development of multi-manager diversified portfolio solutions. Continuing growth has created an opportunity for an Investment Portfolio Analyst to work within the Investment Team.

The ideal candidate will have:

  • A tertiary qualification preferably in Finance and/or Economics
  • Experience in investment analysis in the financial markets (a minimum of 2 - 3 years)
  • Excellent computer modelling and quantitative analysis skills
  • An ability to work independently and display initiative
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Development and maintenance of internal benchmark models and custom portfolio reports for managers
  • Performance reporting to external asset consultants and wholesale clients
  • Performance attribution model development (equity, asset allocation, fixed interest)
  • Management of trading reports for cash, currency and equities
  • External Fund Manager analysis

We seek a highly motivated person with excellent computer literacy (advanced Excel, Access), numerical and analytical skills who has a real interest in investment markets and economics.
