New Zealand Guardian Trust is a premier trustee, financial adviser and one of New Zealand’s leading asset managers. We are seeking applications for the position of Manager Settlements and Securities, to lead and manage a busy settlements team at our head office in Auckland.

This is a key management position reporting to an Executive member, and responsible for the provision of timely and accurate processing of all settlements and securities administration for the funds under management of the Royal & Sun Alliance (NZ) Group of companies. In addition to hands on management of the settlements team you will actively manage a wide range of both internal and external client and supplier relationships.

We want to hear from people who have proven team leadership experience within a settlements/securities operation. Particular experience must be demonstrated in Domestic and Global equities, fixed interest and derivatives settlements and related income processing in a multi currency environment. You will thrive on pressure, be highly professional, have strong relationship building and negotiation skills, and be solutions oriented. In addition you will need to possess a strong and broad knowledge of investment management systems preferably Hi-Portfolio and a good understanding of the technology required to support settlement operations.
