Graeme Thomas has been appointed manager of the Wellington office of ANZ Private Bank. The private banking network was established last year to provide a customised service to high net worth individuals.
Over the past two years Thomas has worked for William M Mercer providing strategic investment policy advice to long-term investors. Prior to that he spent eight years with former National Bank subsidiary Southpac Investment Management.
Also joining ANZ Private Bank in Wellington is Glenn Wilson. Wilson has 13 years experience in international banking and has, for two years, been with a major Australasian bank in Wellington in an institutional banking role.
