Spicers Portfolio Management has added to its investment team with the appointment of Mark Brighouse as a manager.
Brighouse has spent the past five years based in London. Three of these have been with Paribas Asset Management and the other two with Citigroup.
Brighouse has specialised in investing in international bonds. He will manage fixed interest securities for Spicers.
This appointment means Spicers can now manage all its Australasian investments in house. (The other managers are George Kerr, Paul Glass and Simon Botherway). Spicers use Morgan Stanley and Putnam for international assets.
