New Zealand's AMP Asset Management has appointed James Darkins, currently chief executive of state-owned enterprise Terralink NZ Ltd, as head of its AMP Property Fund.
The fund is an unlisted unit trust with a diversified portfolio of property valued at more than $650 million.
Most of the fund is commercial office property, predominantly in central business district locations.
Darkins will take up his role on April 14, replacing Steve Swain, who has returned to AMP Asset Management in Australiaur
