Dr Rod Carr is the first of the two confirmed speakers and in his capacity as chief executive of Jade Software Corporation. He will address the topic of “Reaching beyond your grasp”.

Dr Carr joined Jade Software Corporation in 2003 after a distinguished career in the banking sector, most recently as the acting Governor of New Zealand’s central bank, the Reserve Bank of New Zealand. During the past two decades Dr Carr has played a role in various New Zealand government bodies, and to many FPIA members he is well known and further more, respected as a keynote speaker.

Robyn Moore joins the list of podium speakers, having been voted Australian National Communicator of the Year in 1998. Robyn is a multi-skilled communicator who has been in the business of creating and changing people’s perception through the “power of the word” for almost 30 years. She’s Australia’s most versatile and effective female voice-over artist, presenter and speaker. She is not a cliche “motivational speaker", or a cliché “personality speaker”, she is simply refreshingly authentic.

The Call for Presentations and posters has resulted in a number of registrations of interest and at time of writing there are still some days left until close off. The committee will then work through the various applications and select those topics and speakers who have provided a submission most suited to the theme of “Raising the Bar”.
