. . . seeking the right Research and Marketing Analyst

Morningstar, the independent, international provider of managed investment information, is seeking a smart, ambitious individual to fill the role of Research and Marketing Analyst in our Auckland office.

We are seeking a dynamic individual with previous funds management/financial experience to fill this role. The successful candidate will have a history of achievement in both academic and business environments. In addition he or she will be able to identify concrete examples of how they proactively resolved problems in an efficient and timely manner. Please note that a tertiary qualification and good report writings skills are essential.

The objective of this role is to greatly assist the current Morningstar NZ team in expanding its business in the NZ market. The successful candidate will become an invaluable member of this team as the business grows.

The role will encompass research on fund managers, and assistance with the production of monthly products and quarterly reports together with general office duties.
